Looking For Extra Hours?
We are looking for people who would like to be on our relief list. This could mean you pick and choose extra hours on an longterm, flexible basis or it could be a way to work toward a regular part-time or full-time position.We are especially looking for relief staff who have one or more years of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates who come with the DDA-mandated training including the Maryland Board of Nursing Medication Technician license.
Pay range is $9.75-10.25 depending on duties and location.
Hours are mostly evening and weekend, though we do have occasional need during the day. Typical schedules might be:
Awake overnight: Remain overnight from 11 p.m. to 7 or 9 a.m.
CLA: evening shifts might be 5-10 p.m. Weekend days might be 10-6 p.m., 8-8 p.m., etc.
CLAII: work all weekend from Friday afternoon through Sunday evening. Approximately 35 hours each weekend; sleeping overnight is not paid.
Requirements: HS diploma, 1+ years experience, valid driver's license, 3+ years driving, clean MVA record, good interpersonal skills, working knowledge of principles of self determination and community integration. Commitment to completing initial training and keeping it current.
